عضو هيئة التدريس في جامعة ميريلاند ( الولايات المتحدة ) ، قسم التاريخ،
درس في جامعة تولوز لو ميرايل (فرنسا) وجامعة القديس يوسف (بيروت، لبنان)، وجامعة باريس 8 سانت دينيس (فرنسا)،
كما كان باحثا في المعهد الفرنسي للشرق الأدنى في دمشق (سوريا، 2002-2006)،
وهو زميل ما بعد الدكتوراه في المركز الوطني الفرنسي للبحث العلمي (المركز الوطني الفرنسي) للبحوث العلمية في باريس (2007-2008)، وأستاذ مدعو في كلية الدراسات العليا في العلوم الاجتماعية (إهيس) في باريس (يونيو 2014).
