Richard Hitchcock
أستاذ فخري
قضى مسيرته الأكاديمية في إكستر، من عام 1966 حتى تقاعده منصب أستاذ الدراسات العربية الاسبانية في عام 2003.
درس الاسبانية والعربية في سانت اندروز , وكان طالبا في بغداد عام1962،
وفي مدريد عامي 1964-1965 ،
وقد نشر مقالات باللغتين الإسبانية والإنجليزية في الأدب الإسباني في العصور الوسطى والعصر الذهبي .
