Ann Elizabeth Mayer
ولدت في 5 مايو، ١٩٤٥م .
أستاذ مشارك في الدراسات القانونية في قسم الدراسات القانونية وأخلاقيات الأعمال التجارية في كلية وارتون في جامعة بنسلفانيا.
حصلت على الشهادة الجامعية الاولى من جامعة ميشيغان في عام 1964.
وماجستير في الشرق الأدنى اللغات والآداب (العربية والفارسية) من جامعة ميشيغان في عام 1966.
وجي دي من كلية الحقوق في جامعة بنسلفانيا في عام 1975.
شهادة في القانون الإسلامي والمقارن من كلية الدراسات الشرقية والأفريقية في جامعة لندن في عام 1977
وعام 1978 على درجة الدكتوراه في تاريخ الشرق الأوسط من جامعة ميشيغان.
وقد كتبت عن حقوق الانسان , وحقوق المرأة .
