بيتر ويب
متخصص في الأدب وثقافة ما قبل الإسلام الحديث. يدرس بحثه المجتمع والعرق والهويات الاجتماعية في العالم الإسلامي في وقت مبكر ، مع التركيز بشكل خاص على أصل وتطور الهوية العربية وقصص ما قبل الإسلام المسجلة في الشعر والنثر العربي.
درس اللغة العربية في كلية الدراسات الشرقية والإفريقية وجامعة لندن وجامعة دمشق. ونال درجة الدكتوراه في كلية الدراسات الشرقية والإفريقية في لغات وثقافات الشرق الأدنى والأوسط.
بعد حصوله على درجة الدكتوراه ، حصل على زمالة في مجال الفن والممارسات الجمالية 2014-2015 من قبل المنتدى Transregionale Studien ، برلين ،
والزمالة الأكاديمية البريطانية ما بعد الدكتوراه في عام 2015 ،
استضيف في كلية الدراسات الشرقية والإفريقية. وانضم إلى جامعة ليدن في عام 2017.
