Alexander Treiger

أستاذ مشارك في الدراسات الدينية في جامعة دالهوسي في هاليفاكس، نوفا سكوتيا (على الساحل الشرقي لكندا).

تتركز أبحاثه الحالية على المسيحية العربية، والفلسفة العربية، واللاهوت الإسلامي،

مع التركيز على انتقال الأفكار اللاهوتية والصوفية من العصور القديمة المتأخرة إلى الإسلام المبكر. وهو مهتم بشكل خاص بالتفاعلات بين المسيحيين اليونانيين والسريانيين والمسلمين الناطقين بالعربية والمسلمين في الفترة الإسلامية الأولى والتأثير الذي تمارسه هذه التفاعلات على تنمية الفكر الإسلامي.
