أندرو هارفي

Andrew Harvey

هو مؤلف، عالم دين ومدرس في التقاليد الصوفية ، والمعروف في المقام الأول لكتبه قصصي شعبية على الموضوعات الروحية أو الغامضة ,

ولد في كويمباتور ، الهند في عام ( 1952) لابوين انجليزيين ، وعاش هناك حتى كان في التاسعة من عمره. تلقى تعليمه في اللغة الإنجليزية حتى انتهى الى جامعة أكسفورد ، حيث درس في وقت لاحق شكسبير والأدب الفرنسي حتى عام 1977. وقال انه كتب أطروحة على الجنون في شكسبير و ايراسموس .

في عام 1970 عمل كزميل في جامعة اكسفورد , وبحلول عام 1077 عاد الى الهند حيث بدء برحلة روحية في الصوفية ,

كتب عن الصوفية وجلال الدين الرومي .
