السيرة :

محاضرا في كلية سانت فيليب للاهوت ، كونجوا ، تنزانيا من 1989 إلى 2000 ، ثم في كلية سانت بول اللاهوتية المتحدة (الآن جامعة سانت بول) ، ليمورو ، كينيا من 2000-2006 ، وقام بتطوير برنامج ماجستير في الإسلام والعلاقات المسيحية-الإسلامية.

من 2006-2009 ، شارك في مشروع الشريعة في أفريقيا مشروع بحث متعدد التخصصات حول الاستجابات للقانون الإسلامي في دول مختارة من الصحراء الكبرى (السودان ونيجيريا وكينيا وتنزانيا) بالتعاون مع جامعة بايرويت ، بتمويل من مؤسسة فولكس فاجن.

من 2008-2012 ، كان في مركز الدراسات الإسلامية المسيحية ، أكسفورد. منذ عام 2009 كان زميل أبحاث فخري ، بيت القديس ستيفن وعضو كلية اللاهوت بجامعة أكسفورد.

وقام بتدريس ماجستير في العلاقات المسيحية الإسلامية والإسلام في إفريقيا في جامعة سانت بول ، ليمورو ، كينيا والكلية اللاهوتية لشمال نيجيريا ، جوس ، نيجيريا.
