Brian M. Hauglid
ولد ونشأ في منيابولس بولاية مينيسوتا , امريكا .
حصل على درجة البكالوريوس في دراسات الشرق الأدنى من جامعة بريغهام يونغ في عام 1984,
والماجستير والدكتوراه في اللغة العربية والدراسات الإسلامية من جامعة ولاية يوتا في عام 1991 و 1998 على التوالي.
في عام 2013 عين مديرا لمركز Willes , معهد ماكسويل للكتاب دراسات المورمون.
وقد كتب عن كتاب قصص الانبياء للثعلبي , وكتب عن الغزالي .
