Itzchak Weismann
14ولد في سبتمبر عام 1961 في حيفا
مستشرق إسرائيلي . وهو أستاذ الدراسات الإسلامية في جامعة حيفا
وتشمل خبرته مجالات منها الصوفية ، وخاصة النقشبندية الحديثة , سوريا , و الإسلام في الهند .
التعليم :
بكالوريوس مع مرتبة الشرف - تاريخ الشرق الأوسط قسم وبرنامج الشرف على درجة البكالوريوس. جامعة حيفا (1987).
ماجستير بامتياز - تاريخ قسم الشرق الأوسط. جامعة حيفا (1990).
شهادة الدكتوراة بامتياز مع مرتبة الشرف - تاريخ قسم الشرق الأوسط. جامعة حيفا (1997)
ما بعد الدكتوراه - جامعة برينستون (1998-1999)
كلية سانت أنتوني بجامعة أكسفورد (2000) .

مستشار علمي حول الإسلام ، جامعة إسرائيل المفتوحة.
عضو لجنة المطبوعات الجمعية الإسرائيلية للدراسات الإسلامية والشرق الأوسط.
